It is natural for humans to feel attached to certain things in life, and when we do get attached it is not surprising to note that we do not want to be parted from it.
But at the same time we should understand that everything in this Dunya (world) is temporary. We must prepare ourselves to let go of everything at some point. So naturally if we still want to have something in life fearing the above mentioned concept we find only one solution and that solution is in fact the most powerful tool available to anyone..i.e, DUA!
So lately, i heard a few friends of mine who came up to me and said that they love so and so or such and such , so much, that they cannot imagine a day to pass without her/him/it. Further they mentioned that they went to the extent of asking dua from Allah saying, Oh Allah test me with anything you want except so and so and such and such. And they further added that out of all the options Allah chose to test them through what they loved so much in spite of thanking for it and asking dua.So what could be the reason behind this irony?
Firstly, we have to acknowledge ourselves of the fact that just because we ask dua for something it is not a must that Allah should grant it.And that there is a possibily for Allah to test your patience. Further it is likely that we love something that is bad for us, so the best thing to do is accept all that happens , for if Allah brings you to it he can defintely bring you through it. And this world is temporary after all. So stay positive and live happily for the sufferings are going to end one day soon In sha Allah.
